St. Joseph is a small town of about 6,500 residents located just west of St. Cloud, Minnesota. Home to thriving small businesses and local industries, a diverse community and renowned educational institutions like the College of St. Benedict, the city is poised to grow and thrive in the coming decades.
To prepare for and steer this growth, the city hired CDG to develop its new Comprehensive Plan. The Plan includes recommendations to strengthen its Downtown, boost economic activity, proactively plan and protect city systems and assets, connect residents to their community's assets through walk and bike networks, and expand participation in the plan's implementation by all of the city's communities.
The Plan was approved and adopted by the St. Joseph City Council on September 17, 2018.
